Alphadechorum Photography - Friday Feature

For many of us, the love of photography begins with the curiosity and exploration of using a good camera phone. Amateur would be too harsh a word to describe a person of this kind, as one can still be skilled and inexperienced or untrained, and still be enthusiastic about what they do by going beyond their limitations in teaching themselves about the art form; a novice in their own right, independently.

Since 2013, Kamogelo Lebotse or Alphadechorum has been taking snap shots with his Blackberry. Later, he went on to taking pictures using an iPhone 5S alongside his brilliant
photographer and good friend, Shamuel Kisch. It is here where they began to express their
views of the world, capturing moments that only the human eye would put lesser meaning to the world.

Here are a few images taken by Alphadechorum, with a Canon Dslr.

These images evoke a sense of home and sparks a bit of poetry in all of us and serves as a reminder of the existence of life in just one moment. His approach to photography is one that is yet to be compared to any other photographer - his images speak volumes of spirituality; calm and stillness. Each picture telling a tale, that draws you in and keeps you there...staring, moved, yet unshaken.

His monochromes inject substance in your bloodstreams and channels truth and wisdom. His ability to observe intricate moments is a skill that not a lot of creatively inclined artists have and is a quality that separates him from the rest. Every picture represents the day-to-day happenings of all our lives. take a second and pay attention to the smaller things, the miraculous things.

Alpha uses his writings as a form of poetry to describe each scenario, which is all the better to experience this art from his perspective. What a God! Proving that we are all gods, made in his/her image and capable of creating and recreating anything because the possibilities are infinite. Absolutely powerful work and an even stronger message. We love it!

The future:

The road to the future.
That is where every road begins. There's no end - only connecting paths with twists and turns.

The master plan.

The future belongs to those who know where they belong
Be yourself

Just do it:
This image speaks for itself.

It emphasizes the care we should put into making the world a better place.
A street cleaner just doing it,why can't we?

Purity:

Everyone and everything is interconnected in this universe.
Stay pure in heart and you will see the signs.
Follow the signs, and you will uncover your destiny.

It's a child's world and children are the future. If you regard yourself as a child you will see need for the most detailed growth.

Don't turn my world upside down and expect my head not to be in the clouds, I was once grounded but now I dare to fly.

The beginning of a new nation begins with a women because the women bares a child who will change the world .

Let's not bring our children into a world of pain. We have felt it, they shouldn't feel it.

Black consciousness, black love, black unity, black opulence.

 Children's world:
Never stop supporting your children no matter how many times they fail.
Know that when your are succeeding, they are with you as well, for even if you fall.

Make sure your children make it.
It's the life's rule.

My children matter...
they don't have to be here for me to realize how important it is to make sure there is a platform for them to enrich their minds with relevance.

Build now so they don't have to fix what we neglected to when the time was ours to do so.

The soil:
In this notion we wish in places of tombstones, we should plant trees to continue life instead of using up all the space, a life gone is a life created, the earth is not creating more land, we should instead.

By preserving the earth, planting
protecting, and giving life.

Wealth:
Life, heart, mind and spirit.

These are the most things that hold the wealth in life. Being healthy in all these aspects means a fulfilled life.

Feed your soul: give your self the gift of life by seeking understanding and loving unconditionally, treating all people the same.

Feed your heart: eliminate all fear and very influence that changed you as a person because of pain.

Feed your mind : We bow down with our heads to submit our minds and to hold our hearts above to the things we think about and the things we believe.

Gods wisdom:

I reach to the sky as a tribute to asking and receiving blessings.
My meeting with God on a daily basis.

Oneness.

God is missing, we need to find him by finding ourselves, the closer we are to ourselves and uniting, the closer he is to himself.

I owe all I have to him family friends and the art which flows inside of me.
My soul.

Taken in Pretoria Bosman station.

Growth: This image depicts years and years of growing something, the hair can be closely related to the roots, the mind an endless growth one can be tasked with. We fail at self actualization and time dedicated to self is mostly taken for granted.

Seek within and it will materialize on the outside.

The break:

A picture of my good friend Shemuel kitsch. Look for his name on Instagram to find his art as well. Great photographer.

I call this image the break because in a way it looks like the person in the photograph is breaking through the window.

In the midst of having doubt about going out and shooting that day we came across a church in Rustenburg, this began the inspiration that happened that day. We started shooting again after a month and a half because of this church.

This image has a strong meaning and belief attached to it, ironically it being a church window it emphasizes the faith needed to break through in certain situations, finding inspiration and continuing your life purpose.

Never be afraid to do what you love, in order to break through with anything success and prosperity be willing to go outside your comfort zone.

Prosperity.

Time:

Life happens and we move on a daily basis we are the only species moving at the rate we are moving with no regard for the earth no regard for people, loosing people for people taking people's happiness love and mostly time, without acknowledging there's only one of each of us in this world.

In this image everyone is moving and standing up except for one person, the one sitting down. The subject emphasises taking time to sit down, to think about things and to evaluate yourself, to find yourself among people who are too busy doing other own things to notice your existence.
